Installation & Setup

Welcome to ShopGuide! This guide will walk you through installing and setting up your AI-powered shopping assistant in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Shopify store (any plan)
  • Admin access to your Shopify store
  • Basic familiarity with the Shopify admin panel

Installation Steps​

1. Install from Shopify App Store​

  1. Visit the Shopify App Store
  2. Search for "ShopGuide"
  3. Click "Add app" on the ShopGuide listing
  4. Review the permissions and click "Install app"

2. Initial Setup​

After installation, you'll be redirected to the ShopGuide dashboard:

  1. Welcome Screen: Review the app overview
  2. Subscription Selection: Choose your plan (free trial available)
  3. Basic Configuration: Set your store preferences

3. Verify Installation​

To confirm everything is working:

  • Navigate to your ShopGuide dashboard
  • Check that your store data is properly connected
  • Verify the app appears in your Shopify admin sidebar
