Get your ShopGuide chat up and running in just 5 minutes! This streamlined guide covers the essential steps to have customers chatting with your AI assistant today.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- ShopGuide installed in your Shopify store
- Admin access to your Shopify theme editor
- 5 minutes of focused time
Step 1: Access Your Theme Editor (1 minute)
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes
- Find your active theme and click Customize
- Navigate to a page where you want the chat (homepage recommended)
Step 2: Add the Chat Block (2 minutes)
- In the theme editor, click Add section or Add block
- Search for "Your ShopGuide Chat"
- Click to add it to your page
- Position it where you want the chat to appear
Recommended Placements:
- Homepage: Below hero section or in sidebar
- Product pages: Near product description
- Collection pages: In the sidebar or footer area
Step 3: Basic Configuration (1 minute)
In the chat block settings, configure:
